Chilli Sparke is Snow Australia’s Spirit of Interschools Award Winner for 2025

Celebrating Chilli’s Spirit and Success

Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Snowsports Captain Chilli S (Class of 2025) has been honoured with the prestigious Spirit of Interschools Award at the 2025 Snow Australia Community Sport Awards. This distinction recognises students who make an extraordinary contribution to their sport. It acknowledges not only Chilli’s excellence on the snow, but also her leadership, generosity and positive influence within the cross-country skiing community.

Alongside this remarkable honour, Chilli achieved outstanding results at the National Snowsports Interschool Championships in Mt Buller, placing second in the Division 1 Individual XC event and helping her team secure third place with Xanthe M and Nicola G. She also led Oxley to win Best School in Cross Country Skiing and claimed third place in the Under 18 Australian Biathlon Championships.

Chilli’s impact extends far beyond her own performances. Through coaching younger athletes, leading fitness and roller-ski sessions and building a welcoming team culture, she has strengthened Oxley’s snowsports program and created a legacy of courage, care and community that will inspire future skiers for years to come.
